KitchenMax is a product of Weblox ("we", "us"), a business registered in Israel and based in Ashdod. By using the KitchenMax app or the KitchenMax website (kitchenmax.app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use KitchenMax. You must be at least 13 years old to use KitchenMax (or older, where your country sets a higher minimum age for agreeing to online services).
You must not misuse KitchenMax — including unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing our intellectual property, or interfering with our systems (for example malware, probing, or scraping).
KitchenMax's software, branding, and content are owned by or licensed to us unless stated otherwise. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
Scanning kitchenware markings requires a free account — sign up with your email address and a password, or sign in with Google. The items and appliance settings you save sync to your account and follow you across devices, including any custom photo you add to an item. See our privacy policy for what that involves. KitchenMax uses AI to read markings from photos you choose to scan, and AI can make mistakes — please double check results, and always follow the manufacturer's own instructions where they differ. KitchenMax is a convenience, not a safety certification: whether an item is safe to use in a dishwasher, microwave, oven or freezer remains your judgement and the manufacturer's word.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app — see deleting your account.
The free version of KitchenMax is supported by advertising served by Google (AdMob) in the app. Our website shows no ads at the moment; if it does in future, visitors from the EU and the UK will be asked for consent first. KitchenMax Premium removes ads in the app. Our privacy policy describes the data involved in serving ads.
KitchenMax Premium is a $2.99/month recurring subscription that removes ads and lifts the free plan's scan limit (30 scans in your first month, then 5 a month), raising it to up to 40 scans a day and 300 a month — fair-use ceilings that protect the service against abuse, well above normal personal use. Premium is sold in the Android app.
Premium is billed through Google Play under Google Play's terms of service. You can cancel anytime in Google Play; see our refund policy for cancellation and refund terms.
We may update these terms. When a change matters to you — what you pay, what you agree to, how your data is handled — we e-mail the address on your account before or when it takes effect, and the "Last updated" date above changes. Minor wording fixes just update the date. If you keep using KitchenMax after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you don't agree with them, you can delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.
We provide KitchenMax "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — including damage to kitchenware or appliances from following a reading — except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer laws apply where you live.
